Summer in Cass Lake means one thing: the Cass Lake Summer Celebration! In July 2026, neighbors, families and visitors came together for royalty, treasure hunting, live music and some very unusual furry guests.

Miss Cass Lake and Little Miss Cass Lake

This year's Miss Cass Lake and Little Miss Cass Lake candidates were a highlight of the celebration. Dressed in their gowns and sashes, they represented our community with grace and big smiles. Congratulations to all of the candidates!

Medallion Hunt

The annual medallion hunt had treasure hunters searching all over town for the hidden Cass Lake Summer Celebration 2026 medallion. Congratulations to this year's medallion hunt winners, pictured with the medallion and their prize!

Live Music

Local musicians set up under the tents and filled the afternoon with live music, giving everyone a great reason to pull up a lawn chair, relax and enjoy a summer day in Cass Lake.

Exotic Petting Zoo

The exotic petting zoo was a crowd favorite for kids and grown-ups alike. Visitors got up close with animals you don't see every day in northern Minnesota, including a baby kangaroo and a fluffy young camel.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, performed, sponsored and came out to celebrate. We'll see you at next year's Cass Lake Summer Celebration!
